  • Bachelor’s Degree OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous experience.
  • Five (5) years of experience in Crew Services or Operations
  • Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
  • Three (3) years of Flight Operations related duties
  • Two (2) years of leadership experience
  • Available for occasional overnight travel (20%)
  • Able to work flexible hours and be available to assist the operation on short notice

Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

  • Represent Crew Services and provide support at all Flight Operations base visits, VP Hearings, System Boards, and other meetings as necessary
  • Supervise the Flight Standards Analyst  and OE Coordinator teams
  • Analyze crew resource trends and develop recommendations based on findings for changes needed to increase crew utilization and productivity for continual improvement of efficiency and cost savings
  • Work closely with the Business Solutions team to provide feedback and support for the various automated management systems that are used by scheduling
  • Take a significant role in the development of crewmembers to support the engagement, growth, goal achievement
  • Oversee the development and implementation of ideas for the continual improvement of scheduling processes and procedures in partnership with Flight Operations Leadership
  • Represent JetBlue’s Flight Scheduling department at various industry meetings and conferences on crew utilization and to stay abreast of current trends
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director Crew Operations
