Your Duties And Responsibilities as an Assistant Manager

  • Ensure long and short-term staffing is available to support operational needs
  • Lead tracking and analysis of departmental performance
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives driving innovation and efficiency
  • Mentor, guide, and coach front-line supervisors in all areas of the operation, interpersonal and administrative responsibilities
  • Establishes performance goals and conducts routine reviews
  • Establish relationships and collaboration within the team
  • Ensures that safety, security, and service are delivered consistently
  • Support standard work for frontline employees

Who Can Apply For This Position 

  • 3+ years of experience in an operational environment
  • 2+ years of experience managing a team
  • Experience creating and championing a team’s strategy and roadmap
  • Ability to work with cross-functional groups
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to continuously changing priorities
  • Experience supervising a unionized workforce
  • 25-50% travel when needed
