Who Can Apply For This Position

  • Prior history of working with large data sets and extrapolating useful information.
  • Interest/experience in Data Science, Data Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, and/or Engineering is advantageous.
  • The ability to develop ETL (Extraction, Transformation, and Loading) processes to acquire data from internal and external sources and produce relevant outputs is extremely advantageous.
  • Tableau, R, or T-SQL proficiency preferred.
  • Database [MS SQL] and/or Visual Studio (or similar) experience is a plus.

What You Have to do as a Business Intelligence Analyst Intern

The Business Intelligence Analyst Intern will act as a liaison between business owners and technical associates within the company to design, develop, implement and maintain new reporting functionality and analytical applications.

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree​​​
  • Exact dates to be determined
  • Interns may work between 15 and 40 hours per week depending on class schedule and credits received
  • Interns, their spouse, parents, domestic partner, or travel companion & any eligible unmarried dependent children under the age of 21, of the intern, will receive unlimited, space available, individual flight privileges on Allegiant Air (all fees waived) for the term of the internship
  • Education Details: Must be enrolled in or completed education at an accredited university, with preference given to candidates that will have completed at least 2 years of university-level coursework. Relevant coursework includes Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Accounting, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, etc.
  • The internship will be paid at an hourly rate
  • No medical or similar benefits are provided
  • The ability to read, write, and speak English in order to receive and understand instructions, and directives, and ensure safety, as well as the ability to interact with customers, is a requirement of the job.
